Death of Grandiosity
the universe has to know what we have to say
we think our ideas are buzzing
but weapons are blazing
and no one seems to care
oh how long will this madness fare
if only you would really care
oh how far has hope has to travel today
because we are not alone
while we wish to be left alone
as we hunger for revelations
while entire nations suffer in famine
we sadly cry our consternation
hopping no one dare to examine
our deceptions forged when we were alone
oh how long will this madness fare
if only you would really think
oh how has hope begun to blink
when i look at my personal life today
I've learned that i have really nothing new to say
the day started with simple beginnings
to end with joyfully clear lucid dreaming
all my problems have been kept at bay
oh how peacefully simple I've learned to care
if only you would honestly tell me how you fare
oh how far has hope come to reveal peace for you today
Just a simple plan
for a simple clan
honest commitment for those who love us
daily honing of God given skills to leave no rust
oh how far and peaceful we can go today
aware of our actions is the only ground where we stand

It all passes away ... in cycles
momentarily shows green grass
winter, spring blend hope

Good morning... guten tag!
A friend of mine sent me her slides on this website that makes it so easy to create, present and share Slide shows or collections of photographs. When a collection of pixes is near the 1000 mark or over the sharing process becomes clumsy and annoying. Slide.com has simplified this very well.
Visit Slide.com and watch the short slide show "Yellow"

Humming bird clearwing moth
captured by Panasonic DMC-FZ18
The FZ18 came throgh again without failure
What a magical little creature! It is worth it to wait.
At first it looked like a hummingbird but soon it was clear that it was fuzzy and wuzzy not feathered.

Musik saves the soul
Silbermond is a name to remember when it comes to German music.
this band from Germany has done a great job with their song MEER, chek it out.
The begining of their video is ..well ... different soon you'll slowly notice their catchy beat with a light twist of dark, mostly a truck along tune
Fun but dark enough for me

Sunny day in Fairport

This turned out to be a good picture taking day and my Panasonic DMC-FX18 did not let me down today, most of them if not all these pictures were taken with the Manual setting. I preffere it because the colors are closer to what my mind's eye sees

The Tragically Hip from Canada
There is one band that delivers good music consistently. They have been around for a while it seems but really I personally have become vagely familiar with their stuff only in the last year. To me they sound like a blend of Barenaked Ladies, Bruce Cockburn and Pearl Jam, they can sound like candy, folksy or cynical. Am sure their loyal fans will disagree the point is I like them and think that they are one of few a band to have their CD's. There are days early morning when they fill the spot.
and here is todays song (link) the Tragically hip performing at Woodstock 1999

Sun and Waves
the touch of sunlight scorching my skin tenderly
awakening the thirst for new life
Lke the waves of the ocean
drumming against the shore of my heart
ocean spray refreshing my soul hopefully
anchors cut with enthusiasm's knife
listening to the new music of a fresh heart
Be well be happy be Lucid
sweet clear seeing
I know that you clear all wounds
made by the mind's spewing
with righteous anger's complicity
doesn't matter, it all falls off
all drops away with clear seeing
no more stories to prop the self pitty
no more wasted time in the midst of simplicity
in the quiet of the absence of distractions
when we realize that the fear is a burdensome story
propping up our justified anxiety
"so here it is another chance
the dream is over
or has it just begun"
silent lucidity
Gracious sweet juice of energy that liberates
free to love,
free to do,
free to forgive,
free to see.
to see clearly

Eileen aus Berlin
the more my pillow misses you
because carrying sadness
makes my will weak
as i lose myself through the crowds
a soulmate is what my heart appears to still seek
to stand by you is now a useless vow
as scores of faces bless my life with gladness
the perfume of a memory lingers and is you
the more i realize how short was our time
long enough to carve the sleek roundness of your fingers tips
how their pinkness
matched your cheeks
and your spunk
the bounce of your steps now a memory of life
the more i think
the more i want to fly away
and leave behind my education
to seek redemption
where struggles have no meaning
where desires and values abandon all scheming
lost in God’s astigmatism of life
ideals turn concerns without protection
retirement funds drive priorities high
to meet the unrepentant feeling of you
the question arises: is time just life as awareness
from Big Bang to Aug Lang Sine
my lingering sadness is aware of you,
aware of life, how sweet!

Music, what we're missing
that sing your name every day
the winter wind drums
on the siding of my home
reminds me how cold is the silent hum
of an empty bed
your smell has gone away
and your voice is missing.

Digital Photos (DMC-FZ18)
Joyful picture taking
Is easy with the Panasonic DMC-FZ18. I just bought one about a couple of months ago and I am happy with the results.
(Click on picture to view meditative slide show)
I used to own the DMC-FZ3 but gave it to my son, because it was a good camera, happy it was my son who would use it and own it.
The RZ18 has 18x optical magnification with Leica lenses when using max quality but much greater magnification can be acheived with a medium quality setting. My good friend Don has a Canon Rebel and my good friend George had a NIkon F-200 with 150 mm lenses and when we compared them the FZ-18 got better close ups, he upgraded to a Nikon F-300 with 300mm lense and the FZ-18 still get just a fraction of better close ups, lets be real the FZ-18 cannot compete with the superior sensor of the NIkon F300. but I holds its own very well.
ok, let me quit yapping and let me show you.
At left: Winter day in Rochester NY
Clearly this is an endorsement for the Panasonic DMC FZ-18. It also takes videos and a lot more.
Not bad for an amateur, ah! this camera is so easy to love. I prefer taking pictures in manual mode but also is good to check any progress made by quickly switching to iA(intelligent Auto) and snapping a pic., easy. More pics coming shortly this blog just got build this morning at 5 am and need to go to bed, see ya soon.
well just for fun here is a video that just got done being produced and to be published in MySpace or YouTube, it was fun work. The Audio visual content is provided thanks to eJay a audiovisual editing program provided Future ??? magazine from england, free program with purchase of the magazine. Kwel.
